This group offers a Wake Service at the funeral home for the family of the deceased. They also make follow-up visits to the bereaved periodically and reach out in various other ways, hoping to bring  comfort and peace to the bereaved. The Bereavement Committee meets when needed.

St. Mary- Charlotte Ruediger  724-287-2937

This ministry assists individuals as they plan to honor their deceased. Comfort and support are provided as the grieving family members make decisions regarding the funeral process.  The Bereavement Minister explains the funeral Mass, aids in the selection of readings and hymns, gathers information, and works closely with our priest in organizing and planning the Mass. All liturgical matters are arranged while carefully striving to ease the distress of the mourning family.
