Kathy has been a member of our parish family since 1976 and has been instrumental in serving the young women, mothers, and children of our parish through a variety of organizations such as the “Women of St. Joseph”, Elizabeth Ministry, and Christian Mothers. Kathy also helped organize and run the dining room for the Fall Festival for several years and feels that these endeavors were God’s stepping stones to her current role as Coordinator of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd here at St. Joseph
Kathy began taking her son, Michael, to Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at Holy Sepulcher in 2007 and in 2008, she attended the Level I formation courses and received her certification. Kathy worked tirelessly on creating the materials and setting up the Atrium here at St. Joseph and in the fall of 2009 she opened the Atrium to 5 children on Friday mornings. Since then, Kathy has earned her Level II Certification, more than doubled the Atrium space, and currently has 45 children in CGS Levels I & II.
When not creating new items for the Atria, Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband; David, children; Matthew, Elizabeth, and Michael, and granddaughters; Abigail and Willow.
